I do not know why consumers have to be perplexed 18650 batteries with or without ptrotection and with or without button tops and with or without USB-C charging. It causes issues with battery length and battery carriers, internal and ctetmsl protection, etc. Each should have its own unique alphanumeric designation to avoid buying the wrong thing especially for Chinese equimement. I made the mistake and had to buy another four batteries. Sad, so much for standardization!
